Ava and Aiden’s story began on a night neither of them planned. Both had been convinced, practically dragged, by their friends to attend a party at the sale barn in Sterling, Colorado, in September 2024. What seemed like an ordinary night turned out to be the beginning of something unforgettable.At the sale barn, Ava walked up to Aiden with confidence and introduced herself with a firm handshake. Caught off guard, Aiden laughed and said, “You shake hands like a man.” It wasn’t your typical romantic moment, but it was the spark that set everything in motion.A week later, they went on their first date at The Grill at River City. What was meant to be a casual dinner stretched into hours of easy conversation and laughter. Their connection grew naturally, and three months later, Aiden moved in. He repeatedly joked that he wouldn’t propose for at least four years—but life clearly had a different timeline in mind.Together, they built a warm, lively home with two dogs and two cats, filling their days with adventure, comfort, and countless small moments that made their bond deeper.On August 30th, 2025—about nine months after they began dating—Aiden asked Ava to marry him on the beach. The moment felt right, filled with love, and Ava didn’t hesitate for a second to say yes.From a night at the Sterling sale barn they almost skipped to a life they’re thrilled to build together, Ava and Aiden’s story is the sweetest reminder that love often begins when you least expect it.
